Le Meridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg

Hotel staff is exceptional. All are friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. Rooms are small by US standards but more than adequate since one is not likely to spend much time in the room. The bathroom is very nice, however. At 77 Euro, this hotel is a fantastic value. The 22 Euro breakfast buffet is very good but not a good value. Although I did not need AC, it was not available in my room but the provided fan was useful to circulate the air from the open window. Good reception and service. The room was quite small compared to other hotels that are not 5 stars. Overall, very good.

My husband and I stayed at the Meridian Hotel in Nuremberg and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was lovely, comfortable and immaculate. We were only a block away from the charming old neighborhood of Nuremberg with pedestrian cobblestone walks and small restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very nice. I was expecting two separate beds but the bed was able to be separated. It was a European, 2 bed, bedroom. The location was fantastic, right near the city center, all the historical sights, the shopping distract and the Bahnhof (Main train station). There was also a subway station and tram cars that were nearby that could take you anywhere in the city. ...read more
